What is hue? what does the hue mean ?
Hue, also known as color hue, refers to the visual characteristics used to distinguish colors, which depend on the spectral composition of the colored light source and the reflection ratio of the object surface to various visible light wavelengths. The hue can be represented by the most common words that describe colors, such as red, orange, yellow, green, etc.
Chroma also known as Saturation chroma, refers to the purity of colors pigment. For example, monochromatic visible light is the most saturated color, and the more white light is added, the less saturated it becomes. The saturation depends on the degree of reflection selection of the pigment surface towards light. If there is a high reflectivity towards a narrow band of light and a low reflectivity towards other wavelengths of light, it indicates a high degree of reflection selection and a high degree of color saturation.
